Hostel Devotion Attendance
Many hostels hold morning or night devotion, and attendance has traditionally been a register passed around the room. Attenova lets a hostel turn on morning devotion, night devotion or both, each with its own time window.
When devotion starts, students get a notification and mark themselves present from the hostel with the day’s access code. Managers see the code and today’s devotion right on their dashboard.
Included Features
- Morning and night devotion, each optional
- Daily session with its own access code
- Notification when devotion starts
- Same GPS and face verification as bed-check
- Skip a single day without switching off
- Today’s code on the manager dashboard
- Full history and Excel/PDF downloads
The Challenge
Devotion registers are easy to sign for an absent roommate and impossible to review later. Hostels needed the same verified, searchable record they now have for bed-checks — without adding work for the manager.
How Attenova solves this
A new devotion session opens automatically every day on the hostel’s schedule. Students on approved leave are excused and don’t get reminders, managers can skip a single day without turning devotion off, and every record can be downloaded.
Common questions about this feature
No. Each is optional and runs on its own schedule — turn on one, both, or neither.
Managers can skip a single day; devotion resumes automatically the next day.
No. Students with approved leave are excused for those days and don’t receive devotion reminders.
