Ask any university lecturer in Nigeria what the most frustrating part of their job is, and a surprising number will say the same thing: taking attendance. A 10-minute roll call, three classes a day, five days a week — that's over two hours of lost teaching time every week, per lecturer.

Attenova was designed from the start with lecturers in mind. The system does not ask lecturers to change how they teach. It simply removes the attendance burden entirely.

How it works for lecturers

At the start of class, a lecturer opens their Attenova dashboard, selects the course, and generates a session code. Students have until the end of the session window to enter the code and pass the GPS verification. The lecturer never has to call a name, check a list, or chase a student.
